Westlake Rotary gets new officers

The Rotary Club of Westlake Village appointed the following officers for 2008-09:

•President, Gloria Rocca; president elect, Bob Phillips; immediate past president, Mark Jaffe.

•Board of directors: Jeanne Archer, Elaine Marchessault, Dave Nelson, Dapper Spar, Russ Stone, Ray Taylor and Margie Tobin.

•Club service, Marty Blumenthal and Bruce House; community service, Grant Wilkins; international service, Larry McLaughlin; new generations, Dapper Spar and Sean Olgin; vocational service, Karin Drew; membership, Gary Dickey; Rotary foundation, Edwin Velarde

•Treasurer, Jeanne Archer; secretary, Nadine Larson; programs, Cheri Honig; and sergeant at arms, Donna Miller.

Chartered in 1972, Westlake Rotary is a service organization of business professionals and community activists who meet every Wednesday at noon at the North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village for informative local and global discussions.
