Chamber Singers to open auditions for performers

The Oaks Chamber Singers will host auditions through Aug. 8 for singers interested in performing in this ensemble of about 28 singers.

The ensemble is the only chamber group in the area and also won the Excellence in the Arts Award from the Thousand Oaks Arts Commission in 2006.

Special openings are available in alto and tenor sections, as well as tenor soloist. All soloists are from the ensemble.

The group is a volunteer organization and singers are not paid.
