Save gas- take bus to the beach

•The city of Agoura Hills will host a summer beach bus, making four round trips per day, Monday through Friday, from Agoura to Zuma Beach in Malibu. Service continues through Fri., Aug. 22.

Riders must have picture I.D. to board the bus. Service is $1 each way, and riders must have exact change.

Scheduled stops are Lindero Canyon Middle School, Agoura High School and Liberty Canyon/Agoura Road.

Bus schedules are available at Agoura Hills City Hall, the Agoura Hills Recreation Center and the Agoura Hills Library.

•The Reyes Adobe Historical Site is open for docent-led public tours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Tuesday, and from 1 to 4 p.m. the second and fourth Saturday of each month.

Suggested donations for the tour are $3 for adults, $2 for seniors and $1 for children ages 5 to 12.
