Cultural Center will have free concerts for kids

The Valley Cultural Center's Monday Morning Concerts for Children has announced its upcoming shows, which will be held at 10 a.m. at The Madrid Theatre, 21622 Sherman Way, Canoga Park.

•July 14: Dance Dimension Dancers, a showcase of a variety of dance styles, including African, flamenco, hoofing, jazz and djembe drumming

•July 21: Ticket to Ride, a tribute to The Beatles

•July 28: Kids of Rock Theatre; a vocal/dance group uniting rock music and musical theater

•Aug. 18: Razzle Bam Boom, a duo performing music and comedy with audience participation

Following the performances, from 11 a.m. to noon, representatives from Girl Scouts of the San Fernando Valley will be on hand to distribute information about Girl Scout programs and activities.

Performances are free, but reservations are required.
