Camp lets kids explore local nature
      The Mountains Restorations Trust Discovery Nature Camp this month and next month will introduce children ages 8 to 12 to the wonders of nature. The one-week sessions give kids a firsthand glimpse into the workings of geology, ecology, biology and American Indian cultural tradition.

Agoura offers teen tennis
      The city of Agoura Hills Department of Community Services will offer a tennis camp for children ages 5 to 16 from 9 a.m. to noon the week of Aug. 4 at Agoura High School, 28645 W. Driver Ave., Agoura Hills. Cost for the weeklong camp is $150. For more information, call (818) 597-7361.

Save gas- take bus to the beach
      •The city of Agoura Hills will host a summer beach bus, making four round trips per day, Monday through Friday, from Agoura to Zuma Beach in Malibu. Service continues through Fri., Aug. 22. Riders must have picture I.D. to board the bus. Service is $1 each way, and riders must have exact change.
