Man completes fire academy Erik Acevedo completed the training academy for the Los Angeles City Fire Department. He is currently stationed in the MidWilshire area. Acevedo is a graduate of Agoura High School. He earned a degree in exercise biology and communications from UC Davis, where he was a member of the university's student firefighter program for three years. He played water polo for teams at both schools. His father, Greg Acevedo, has been a member of the LAFD for 38 years. |
