Dial-A-Ride expands its service

The program recently expanded its service for the summer to include stops in Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village. The program recently expanded its service for the summer to include stops in Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village. The city of Agoura Hills is providing residents with expanded service of its DialARide program with destinations in Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks.

The expanded service will include stops at The Oaks Mall, Janss Marketplace, Westlake Promenade, Costco, Los Robles Hospital, the Department of Motor Vehicles, Goebel Senior Center, Senior Concerns and various medical facilities.

Dial-A-Ride is open to all Agoura Hills residents. Children 10 and older may ride by themselves. Babies may ride with a car seat provided by their parent or guardian.

Residents are advised to make appointments one day in advance, but day-of service is available. A one-way trip is $1 within city limits and $2 beyond city boundaries.

The schedule for expanded service is approximately 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. with returns on the half hour, Monday through Saturday.
