CALABASAS City of Calabasas hosts annual Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular, Calabasas High School, 22855 W. Mulholland Hwy. Gates open 5 p.m. Fireworks 9 p.m. Fast Times live band. Free children's play zone. Food, beverages for sale. No alcohol, tobacco, bottle,pets, umbrellas. $10 includes parking, admission, all activities. Children under 2 free. Tickets available at Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center, Juan Bautista de Anza Park. No on site tickets sold. Events at Calabasas Tennis & Swim Club, 23400 Park Sorrento: Lakeside Fun Run, 8 to 11 a.m.; Pet show, 11 a.m.; Summer Splash Party, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Games, barbecue, DJ, dancing, free swimming and tennis.

THOUSAND OAKS

City of Thousand Oaks presents Fireworks Spectacular, 5 to 10 p.m., Janss Marketplace, Hillcrest Drive & Moorpark Road. No Duh (No Doubt tribute band), Early McCallister in concert, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Live DJ 5 to 10 p.m. Fireworks 9 p.m. Balloon twister, face painting, bounce house. Janss merchants sell food. Access to parking structure rooftop begins 4 p.m., limited to first 2,500 guests.

Conejo Recreation & Park District presents Conejo Pops Orchestra in concert with Sherwood Singers, 5 p.m., natural ampitheater, Conejo Community park, 1175 Hendrix Ave., Thousand Oaks. Program of patriotic, Americanan music. Free admission. No pets.

Bethany Church on the Hill hosts Fourth of July Celebration, starts 5 p.m., 200 W. Bethany Court, Thousand Oaks. Concerts, barbecue, water slide, free balloons, bounces, face painitng, gourmet coffee cart, pony rides, petting zoo. Watch city fireworks from site 9 p.m. Free admission. Rotary Club of Simi Valley (noontime club) hosts 38th annual Fourth of July Festival & Fireworks Extravaganza, Rancho Santa Susana Park, 5005 Los Angeles Ave., Simi Valley. Gates open 3 p.m. Live entertainment starts 3:30 p.m. Platinum Groove band, police K-9 demonstration, Puma Karate demonstration, Polynesian Dance Group. Children's Fun Zone, inflatables, rock climbing wall, games. Food & beverages for sale: hot dogs, hamburgers, barbecue, pizza. Beer & wine stations with drink limit. Craft booths.
