Middle schoolers earn awards

Students, parents and staff members received special awards during the Lindero Canyon Middle School culmination on June 18.

The Golden Cougar Awards for exemplary contributions to the school were given to these persons: Penny Sylvester, parent; Leslie Bruce, teacher; Linda Boyce, staff, and Nicole Davis and Kelsey McLaughlin, students.

These students receive recognition for three years of perfect attendance: Jaime Alvarado, Kabir Bhullar, Amanda Chamberlain, David Gallop, Dennis Neymit, Amber Quinn and Grant Strumwasser.

These scholars earned a 4.0 grade point average: Robert Cataldo, Jamie DePippo, Lucky Ding, Emily Dinino, Julia Faherty, Alyssa Flanders, David Gallop, Cheryl Gaul, Matthew Grossman, Nicole Jordan, Anastasia Kokiousis, Jonathan Lai, Cameron MacGregor, Joel Manduke, Matthew Oster, Madison Petersil, Jessica Pham, Miles Schimmel, Andrew Turk and Hailey Wahl.
