LoVEFest to help orphans in Africa
      LoVEFest, a fundraising concert and silent auction benefiting AIDS-affected orphans at Lily of the Valley orphanages in South Africa, will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Sun., June 29 at Gardens of the World, 2001 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

Church presents movie night
      St. Paul Lutheran Church will screen "Meet the Robinsons" on an outdoor screen at Fri., July 11 at the church, 30600 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Agoura Hills. "Meet the Robinsons" is a computer-animated Disney film that takes place in the year 2037 as a young inventor tries to find a family where he fits in.
