Youth Volleyball League registration opens

The United State Youth Volleyball League is registering for the fall 2008 season.

The Calabasas league will meet 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturdays at Chaparral Elementary School, 22601 Liberty Bell Road. The season begins Sept. 9 and ends Nov. 1.

The program teaches the fundamentals of volleyball and provides a low pressure, structured environment where every child is allowed to play.

Adults can volunteer to serve as volleyball instructors, program coordinators and coaches. Training is provided.
