OPEC: We're number two
      In response to Keith Cornell's letter of June 12, I wish to correct his data regarding our oil sources. Fortunately there are so many online sources of these data, I was able to quickly collect current information from many sites and found that they all pretty much match up.

Citizen input helps make project better
      A huge "thank you" to all the Liberty Canyon residents who packed the Agoura Hills Council Chamber last Wednesday night for the hearing concerning the appeal of the planning commission decision to approve the Liberty Canyon Center. Over 25 people spoke to voice their criticisms of the project as proposed. Many others attended to support them.

      As a mother of two AC Stelle Middle School students, an active member of the PFC and a driver recently ticketed by Officer McGee of the sheriff's department, I want to express my sincere thanks to the sheriff's department for all their traffic support this year. We really needed it.

Disagrees with proposed RV parking ordinance
      In response to your article of May 22, "Calabasas tunes up its RV law," the city of Calabasas is trying to pass a new 24-hour street parking ordinance. A DMV 72hour street parking restriction already exists. This ordinance would require a person to obtain a permit to load or off load a recreational vehicle within 24 hours.

A deserving trophy
      Thank you to Smith's Trophies. 1993 is my first memory of meeting Joe and Betty Smith back when my eldest son Sam was playing soccer, then hockey in elementary and middle school. I was always the "trophy" mom and each season I was challenged to get the tallest, best and coolest trophy that was available, which wasn't hard once I found Smith's Trophies.

      If any of you drive through Las Virgenes/Malibu Canyon Road to PCH, you have, no doubt, noticed the enormous amount of criminal graffiti and stickers littering nearly every single road sign along that stretch.
