Theatricum presents Shakespeare, kid shows The Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum will present two plays by William Shakespeare this summer, "Macbeth" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at 1419 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd., Topanga. Call the box office for show dates, as both plays run concurrent and on alternative weekends. •"Macbeth" runs June 7 through Sept. 28. Show times are 8 p.m. Fridays, 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturdays, and 7:30 p.m. Sundays. The Aug. 2 show includes a preshow discussion at 8 p.m. Herta's Roundtable Discussion is from 7 to 9 p.m. Mon., June 16 with a separate admission cost of $15, which includes refreshments. •"A Midsummer Night's Dream" runs June 7 through June 28 and Aug. 7 through Sept. 1. Show times are 8 p.m. Thursdays, 4 p.m. Saturdays, 7:30 p.m. Sundays and 6 p.m. Mon., Sept 1 (Labor Day). Pre-show discussion will be at 3 p.m. Sat., June 28. Herta's Roundtable Discussion is from 7 to 9 p.m. Mon., June 30 for a separate admission fee of $15, which includes refreshments. "A Midsummer Night's Feast" dinners take place every Thursday in August. The Greekthemed buffet meal with a costumed cast of fairies begins at 6:30 p.m. in the theater's gardens, followed by an 8 p.m. show. The cost for performance and dinner is $40 for adults and $15 for children under 12. Advanced reservations are required. Tickets for all shows are $20 and $28 adults; $20 and $15 seniors, students, Iraq War Veterans and Equity; and $8 children 5 to 12. Children under 5 are free. Family fun The Botanicum also presents "Family Fundays" at 11 a.m. on Sundays in June at the theater. Upcoming shows include "Ferdinand the Bull" on June 8, "The Legends of King Arthur" on June 15, "Aesop's Fables" on June 22 and musician Dan Crow on June 29. Crow has recorded eight albums of original songs for children. All tickets are $8. The theater is outdoors, so guests should dress casually and bring seat cushions.
