Golf Classic Held

Dilbeck Realtors & Associates Charitable Foundation recently held its sixth annual golf classic at the Oakmont Country Club in Glendale on Cinco de Mayo. "To those of you who played, to our many volunteers and our generous sponsors, we thank you for remembering that charity begins at home and that is the focus of our foundation," said Mark Dilbeck, President of Dilbeck Realtors GMAC Real Estate.

This year's tournament raised more than $23,000. The golf classic benefited the real estate firm's Charitable Foundation and "everyone in attendance took a swing for the many charities we give to throughout the year," continued, Dilbeck.

A Mexican fiesta dinner was served in the evening where the winning teams were announced and prizes were distributed, and a few lucky winners walked away with auction items.

The winners included: Women's First Place TeamGross: Ellen Newman, Lynn Beckenhauer, Jenny Bryan and Michelle Cappozzoli; First Place Team in the Mixed Division: Bill Knauf, Michael Callahan and Brenda Bowles.

First Pace Gross: Jerry Bolin, Dan Perry, Tony Castelli and Dan Fiorito. Second Place Gross: Pete Siberell, Mike Harlow, Aaron Varcrumsse and Tom Abahary.

Third Place Gross: Michael McCormick, Mark Spitzer, Miguel Figueroa and David Lorin.

First Place Net: Blair Lechtenberg, Alex Gingrich, Ron Cardell and John Choi. Second Place Net: Kevin Grahn, Bill Rinehart, Mike Sorgani and Scott Fuller. Third Place Net: Sean Cullen, Greg Grande, Larry DeWitt and Larry Nielsen.

Closest to the Hole winners included: Shawn Clancy, Mike Sorgani and Deon Edwards, while the Longest Drive went to Chance Owen and Chris Duryee.
