Christian recording artist will perform at fourth annual LoVE Fest

International Christian recording artist Michelle Tumes will perform at the fourth annual LoVEfest concert 3 to 7 p.m. Sun., June 29 at Gardens of the World, 2001 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

The festival will also include live contemporary Christian music, food from local restaurants, a silent auction and an opportunity to sponsor an orphaned child in Africa.

The event is sponsored by Lily of the Valley Endeavor (LoVE), a California nonprofit organization that supports the Lily of the Valley Children's Village, an orphanage in KwaZulu, South Africa, that provides housing, food, medication, education and care in group homes for children whose lives have been affected by HIV/AIDS.

Proceeds from the event will help staff a second orphanage in the village of Makuphutu, and will support educational, community and food parcel programs.
