Magic, comedy show coming to T.O.

Evan Gary Productions presents the Magic and Comedy Tour at 8 p.m. Sat., June 7 in the Scherr Forum Theatre, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza's Countrywide Performing Arts Center, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd.

The show presents internationally recognized and awardwinning magicians direct from the main showrooms of Las Vegas and the Magic Castle in Hollywood, as well as comedians who perform regularly in Las Vegas and have appeared on HBO, Showtime and "The Tonight Show."

The tour will be donating a portion of its proceeds to the Lawrence School-based Clinic which provides free health, mental health and basic needs services to lowincome, uninsured children up to age 18.

Performers include the following:

Ed Alonzo, who starred as Max from NBC's "Saved By The Bell."

Comedy magician Dana Daniels, who received the 2007 Stage Magician of the Year from Magic Castle.

Barry Diamond, actor, singer and standup comedian. He has appeared in "Friends," "Seinfeld," "Bachelor Party" and "The Tonight Show."

The host for the evening is Shawn Pelofsky who has appeared in "The Hot Tamales," "Free Enterprise," and "Last Comic Standing." She has visited Afganistan to entertain the troops.
