Agoura water polo players pick colleges
      Agoura High seniors Matt Carlson and Brandon Gross will continue their water polo careers in college. Carlson has signed a National Letter of Intent with the Naval Academy. He was a first-team All-League and first-team All-CIF choice this season for the section champion Chargers.

      Agoura High water polo standout Peter Kurzeka was named Newcomer of the Year at the Premier League Championships in Los Alamitos. The tournament featured all of the top players from USA Water Polo.

Oaks Christian pole-vaulter Lauren Radke battles Graves' disease, but it hasn't slowed her down one bit
      If Lauren Radke's doctor is reading this, then she just got busted. If not, trouble remains for Radke's pole-vaulting competition. Radke, an Oaks Christian senior, was diagnosed with Graves' disease during March 2005. The disease is an autoimmune disorder that involves overactivity of the thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism).

Baseball, softball teams still alive, boys' tennis squad eliminated
      Nothing good lasts forever. After winning four straight CIFSouthern Section championships, the Viewpoint boys' tennis team saw its postseason end earlier than usual Tuesday when it lost 10-8 to Rowland High in the Division IV semifinals.

Team Blaze melts the competition
     WHAT A RUN- Team Blaze, playing in the Westlake-Agoura Girls Softball (WAGS) U-12 National Division, went undefeated throughout the postseason to win the division championship. Cammorata honored after leading AHS to lacrosse title
      Mike Cammorata, a senior from Agoura High, is the 2008 lacrosse high school All-American as voted by coaches from the Southern California Lacrosse Association. Cammorata was presented with the award after Agoura won the league championship by defeating Newbury Park 11-2 in the final game of the SCLA season at Newbury Park High.
