They're just Nuts for Mutts

The seventh annual Nuts for Mutts Dog Show and Pet Fair will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sun., June 1 at Shepard Stadium at Pierce College, 6201 Winnetka Ave., Woodland Hills.

Highlights include a mixed breed dog show with panel of celebrity judges, pet fair, pet adoptions, vendors selling pet-related items, food, live music, silent auction, kid's corner and more.

This year, more than 400 canines are expected in the dog show. For the first time, four purebred categories have been added so that rescued pedigrees can compete with mixed breed dogs.

The event benefits the nonprofit animal rescue organization, New Leash on Life.

Tickets available in advance online at www.nutsformutts.org or at the door for $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3 to 12. Children under 3 admitted free. Dogs are $5. Free and paid parking are available.
