Agoura Scouts thank community

Agoura Hills Boy Scout Troop 127 held its 45th annual Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast on May 11. We would like to thank our large and caring community for supporting our troop.

Not only did our fathers cook and our boys serve over 600 delicious breakfasts, but we received donations from over 90 businesses and individuals in the form of gifts for prizes, food and money. Your tax-deductible donations will help the troop purchase equipment and supplies, as well as provide leadership training and a positive outdoor program for our Scouts.

We would like to give a special thank you to Mel Adams and Steve Hanton of Agoura Equipment and Rental for loaning us tables, chairs, grills, and propane, the Malibou Lake Mountain Club for donating the use of their beautiful lodge and grounds, and to all the residents of Malibou Lake for tolerating the additional traffic and noise that morning.

We hope all of you will join us next year when we host our 46th annual Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast. We look forward to again spending part of the day with you.
