Friends of Oak Park Schools, an education foundation would like to urge the voters of Oak Park to vote yes on Measure C which is the continuation of the parcel tax passed four years ago. This tax represents $197 per year which is equivalent to $16.42 per month per household (parcel). More ... Oak Park residents did a wonderful thing back in 2004. The voters passed a school funding measure that allows the school district to go a step beyond the state's funding. This measure passed by an overwhelming 81 percent. More ... So what's all this buzz about Measure C? Another tax to make up the state's shortfall? A way for the district to pay for administrative costs?
