Beth Haverim presents political program

Temple Beth Haverim, as part of its monthly Shabbat Speaker Series, will present a Republican and a Democrat to speak about "Election 2008: The Jewish Vote" at 7:30 p.m. Fri., May 23 at the synagogue, 29900 Ladyface Court in Agoura Hills.

The speakers are Larry Greenfield, California director of the Republican Jewish Coalition, and Andrew Lachman, president of the Democrats for Israel, Los Angeles.

The event will include a short Shabbat service, followed by a brief discussion on the views of both parties and a questionand-answer period.

The public is invited and there is no charge to attend.
