Young man gives periodical salesmen a bad name

Look out for scammers. A young man approached me while I was working in the front yard. He said he was from Pepperdine University and represented the league-winning baseball team. He said that the team needed money to go further with their play. He offered a number of services like car washing and window cleaning for $48.

I took the window cleaning and gave him a check for "Q.S.I." He said the window cleaners would be at our home on Thursday morning. He left and on Thursday morning, guess what? Right, there were no window cleaners.

He did give me a receipt and on the receipt was the name Quality Subscriptions Inc. I look up this name on Google and came up with the information that this company was a scam and they were being represented all over the U.S. So beware! Mike Bird Calabasas
