Special ed group meets

The Special Education Advisory Committee of the Oak Park Unified School District will meet on Tues., May 13 in the community room of the Oak Park Library, 899 N. Kanan Road.

The general meeting will be from 6:30 to 7 p.m., followed by the presentation and questionsand-answers from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Cecilia Laufenberg will lead a workshop on methods parents can use to create inclusive opportunities where no formal inclusion program exists.

Laufenberg is the supervisor of Therapeutic Recreation Services, Conejo Recreation and Park District. She is the parent of two children, one with autism.
