More ... BEST IN THE WEST- Team Pump It, a U-14 girls' soccer squad from Agoura AYSO, has completed one of the most amazing seasons in the history of the local league. In finishing with a 24-0 record, Pump It won the California state championship by defeating Palisades 5-2 in the finale on April 5. Earlier in the year, the girls captured regular-season, area and Central California titles. They battled back and forth the whole night long, but in the end it was the Eagles who sat on the precipice of school history. More ... TOTAL TEAM EFFORT- The Red Rockets, a U-12 girls' soccer squad from Region 4, ended a magnificent run at the California State Championships by finishing in second place. It was the furthest a team from Region 4 has ever advanced at state. In its first 40 games this season, the Red Rockets won 37 times and captured six tournament titles.
