Middle school presents musical fairy tale

Oaks Christian Middle School Musical Theater class will present "Once Upon a Mattress" with a live orchestra at 7:30 p.m. Thurs. and Fri., May 1 and 2, and 2 p.m. Sun., May 4 in the Bedrosian Pavilion on campus, 31749 La Tienda Road, Westlake Village.

This is musical adaptation of "The Princess and the Pea" suitable for all ages. According to the producers, this is the story of a "an unrefined, swamp-swimming princess vying for the affections of a timid, mama's boy whose pompous, overbearing mother is set on breaking up any possible match."

Tickets can be purchased at the middle school office beginning April 22 for $15.
