Agoura Hills resident named to dean's list
      Zack Rosenberg of Agoura Hills was named to the dean's list at Paul Smith's College for the fall 2007 semester. Rosenberg is enrolled in the school's Division of Hospitality, Resort and Culinary Management and earned a semester average of 3.3 or higher to receive this honor. The college is in Adirondack Park of New York state.

School district to conduct survey
Some board members believe timing is off

      The Las Virgenes Unified School District wants 9,000 parents to complete a school survey. Superintendent Donald Zimring said the survey is part of a district effort to identify areas of strength and areas that could be improved upon. Three different surveys have been created, targeting parents of elementary, middle and high school students.

Oak Park singers will scrub-a-dub-dub for a good cause
     CLEANING CREW- Members of the Oak Park High School Choir will staff a community car wash to raise funds for the school's choir programs. The students will host the fundraiser at the parking lot on campus at Kanan and Doubletree from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sun., April 27. They're charging $5 to wash a car and $8 for an SUV.
