KCLU welcomes new board members

A Santa Barbara university dean has joined the KCLU Advisory Board.

Charles McClintock has been the dean of the School of Human and Organization Development at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara since 2001. Prior to that appointment, he was a professor and associate dean at Cornell University for 27 years.

McClintock has served on several boards in the arts and healthcare fields. His support for public broadcasting began in 1970 when he hosted a jazz show on WBFO while earning a doctorate in psychology at State University of New York in Buffalo.

As a member of the KCLU Advisory Board, McClintock will work with other members to help develop long-range plans and coordinate fundraising efforts for the National Public Radio station. Other local KCLU board members include Sue Chadwick of Camarillo, Charles W. Cohen of Westlake Village, Dr. Ritch Eich of Thousand Oaks, Tom Malley of Camarillo, Blaise Simqu of Thousand Oaks and Dave Watson of Thousand Oaks.
