Oak Park High students celebrate Chinese culture
     HAPPY NEW YEAR- Oak Park High School students who study Chinese at the school perform in Chinese New Year Cultural Night last week, accompanied by the Reverie Youth Symphony Orchestra. The event included Chinese music, dances, dramas and martial arts performed by the students and community members. Proceeds benefitted the Oak Park High School Chinese foreign language program.

Parents advised to listen to their kids
      For a parent, knowing one's children are safe, happy and emotionally sound is a concern. A parent would want to be the first to know if their child is being traumatized by something at school or worse. Carnival time at Lupin Hill
      Lupin Hill Elementary School will host its annual fundraising carnival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sun., April 6 at the school, 26210 Adamor Road, Calabasas. The funds will be used to pay salaries and buy supplies for art, computer, music and physical education programs.

Relaxing Easter weekend
      Lately I've been working long hours and sleeping very little. I'm physically and mentally drained. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to a relaxing Easter weekend. My wife, 4-year-old son and I will spend the holiday at my parents' house in Sacramento. I'm planning on making this weekend a mini-vacation for myself.
