Sheriff's Blotter Agoura Hills A burglar stole three laptop computers from a business in the 29500 block of Canwood Street Feb. 24. The loss was about $5,000. A vandal caused $1,500 in damages to a vehicle parked in the 28900 block of Roadside Drive Feb. 24. Someone caused $1,500 in damages by smashing clay planters and a cement pot and breaking landscape walkway lights in an office complex in the 30300 block of Canwood Street Feb. 23. Someone stole $2,400 worth of cigarettes and caused $500 in damages to an office in the 30300 block of Canwood Street Feb. 23. A vandal caused $2,700 in damages to the outdoor lighting system at a business in the 5000 block of Cornell Road Feb. 20. Calabasas A vandal caused $300 in damages to a vehicle parked in the 26700 block of Agoura Road Feb. 25. A thief stole an $80 cellphone, a navigation system valued at $550, and a wallet containing bank cards, a driver's license and $80 in cash from a vehicle parked in the 4000 block of Schuylkill Drive. A thief stole a laptop computer, two iPods and other accessories with a total value of $1,980 from a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 4000 block of Blackbird Way Feb. 20. Someone stole a $325 pair of sunglasses, a $300 BlackBerry and $30 in cash from a car parked in the 4000 block of Blackbird Way Feb. 20. Damages to gain entry into the car were $800. A thief stole 50 CDs valued at $500 and caused $300 in damages to a vehicle parked in the 3900 block of Blackbird Way Feb. 20. A thief stole a $400 briefcase containing a $300 PDA, a checkbook and miscellaneous documents from a vehicle parked in the 4000 block of Meadowlark Drive Feb. 19. The culprits also caused $800 in damages to gain entry into the car. Someone caused $30 in damages by smashing the glass of a lamp cover in a residential complex on Park Sorrento. The incident occurred on Feb. 18. Someone reported that a $6,000 wedding ring was missing from a home in the 4000 block of Meadowlark Drive Jan. 31. Oak Park Graffiti was spray-painted on the walls of Oak Park High School between Feb. 24 and 26. |
