Calabasas wind ensemble welcomes spring with concert
     MAKING MUSIC- The Calabasas High School Wind Ensemble will perform with the school's choirs, concert band, two a capella groups and senior soloists in "A Spring Concert" at 7 p.m. Tues. and Wed., March 18 and 19 at the high school, 22855 W. New film festival invites entries from students
      Young filmmakers are invited to submit their work to Spotlight the Arts' inaugural Student Film Festival. The festival, chaired by Agoura High School graduate and filmmaker Sarah Nagy, will take place at the Louis B. Mayer Theater at the Motion Picture and Television Fund from Fri. to Sun, May 16 to 18.

Master Chorale celebrates 30th
      Los Robles Master Chorale is celebrating its 30th anniversary and the 30-year career of its founding director, James Stemen. The chorale will bid farewell to Stemen during the Celebrate! concerts at 8 p.m. Sat., March 15 and 4 p.m. Sun., March 16 in Samuelson Chapel at California Lutheran University, 60 W. Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks.

Arthritis group to meet
      The Conejo Valley Arthritis Support Group will meet from 12:15 to 2 p.m. Sat., March 8 at the Goebel Senior Adult Center, 1385 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. The guest speaker is Dr. Chang Sik Park who will discuss the use of acupuncture in healing.

Oak Park High revives traditional favorite
     FANCY FEAST- Sarah Baron, center, plays Belle during the matinee performances of "Beauty and the Beast" in the Oak Park High School Pavilion last weekend. Andrew Karl played the princely Beast in all four shows. OPHS teacher Allan Hunt directed the production.

Calabasas High School opens 'Fiddler on the Roof' Tuesday
      Calabasas High School presents the musical "Fiddler on the Roof" at 7 p.m. Tues. through Sat., March 11 through 15, with a 2 p.m. matinee on March 15. Performances are in the theater at the school, 22855 Mulholland Hwy., Calabasas.
