Restaurant changes name, menu
      Native Café & Gathering Grounds in Calabasas has changed its name to Calitalia Restaurant & Lounge. Renee and Ron Lebow bought Gaetano's in Calabasas Old Town in 2005 and renamed it Native Café. Under its new banner the restaurant will focus more on California/Italian cuisine.

Method Fest entry deadline is tomorrow
      The 10th annual Method Fest independent film festival has extended its entry deadline to tomorrow, Fri., Feb. 15, to give more U.S. and international filmmakers the chance to submit their films. The festival, scheduled for March 29 through April 5 in Calabasas, is looking for character and storydriven films featuring strong acting performances.

Students in character for 'Romeo and Juliet'

      The student actors at Agoura High School are trying different techniques to prepare for their roles in the school's upcoming production of "Romeo and Juliet." Sophomore Duke Roberts, who plays Romeo, says he tried to spend time off-stage with the play's Juliet because the actors didn't know each other before rehearsal began.
