AmeriFund targets independents
Todd Shillington AmeriFund Lending Group announced the addition of Todd Shillington as national sales manager responsible for development of the Westlake Village mortgage lender's ILO (independent loan officer) network and broker partnerships.
Shillington previously served as district manager of GMAC Mortgage. He was also sales manager for Countrywide Retail, senior mortgage broker with Mainstreet Mortgage Group, and president of Shillington Funding.
"Todd's energy and his background as an industry leader is an exceptional fit for AmeriFund's immediate and long term objectives," said Barry Hollander, AmeriFund president.
Shillington is past president of the California Association of Mortgage Brokers (CAMB) from Los Angeles County to Santa Barbara, where he provided leadership to the group's board of directors, chaired an annual trade show, and led monthly meetings for over 3,000 area mortgage professionals. In 2007, he was nominated as CAMB Broker of the Year.
