Agoura Hills

A burglar caused $400 in damages when breaking into a building utility room and cutting phone lines. The incident occurred Jan 18 in the 5600 block of Kanan Road.

A burglar stole $6,300 worth of computer equipment from a business in the 5300 block of Derry Avenue Jan. 13.

Vandals caused $300 in damages to the rear passenger window of a vehicle parked in the 28500 block of Conejo View Drive Jan. 2. Nothing was reported stolen.

Four motorcycles valued at $8,000 were stolen from a trailer parked in the 27500 block of Agoura Road in November 2007, but only recently reported.

Calabasas

A vandal caused $500 in damages to a truck parked in the 5300 block of Las Virgenes Road Jan. 13.

A thief stole a $400 photo camera and a $79 briefcase containing escrow files and tax return forms from a vehicle parked in the 5700 block of Las Virgenes Road Jan. 13.

Someone stole an iPod adaptor valued at $80 and $300 worth of music CDs from the trunk of a car parked in the 4900 block of Las Virgenes Road Jan. 9.

A thief stole a $649 bicycle from a locked garage in the 25800 block of Shadygrove Place Jan. 3.

Someone stole a $500 cell phone from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 5300 block of Wellesley Drive Jan. 3.

Hidden Hills

A thief stole a $1,000 laptop computer and a $200 iPod from two separate vehicles parked in the 23800 block of Ling Valley Road Jan. 14. The items were recovered by the Ventura County Sheriff's Department soon after the incident occurred.

Someone stole a $350 GPS unit and a $200 iPod player from a car parked in the 5200 block of Twin Oaks Road Jan. 14.

Someone stole a $700 purse and caused $350 in damages to a vehicle parked in the 24600 block of Long Valley Road Jan. 14.

Oak Park

An 18-year-old male was arrested on charges of having sex with a minor on Jan. 17 at the 100 block of Smoketree Avenue.

A male, 46, was arrested for being of an out-of-state fugitive at 10:29 p.m. Jan. 20 in the 5800 block of Hickory Drive.

Because he was selling cleaning items door-to-door without a proper permit, a male, 35, was cited at 2:20 p.m. Jan. 19 in the 200 block of Bayport Way.

Westlake Village

A thief stole a $200 purse from a vehicle parked in the 1400 block of Country Ranch Road Jan. 15. The culprits also caused $120 in damages by breaking a window to gain entry.

Someone stole a $600 iPhone, two iPod players valued at $400 and caused $600 in damages when they broke into the vehicle that was parked in the 32900 block of Denver Springs Drive Jan 15.

A thief stole a purse containing cash, credit cards and driver's license from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home in the 1300 block of Caitlyn Drive Jan. 15.

A vandal caused $120 in damages by smashing the window of a vehicle parked in the 1700 block of Kirsten Lee Drive Jan 15.
