Racing and alcohol prove to be a recipe for disaster on Kanan Road
A 48-year-old Oak Park man was airlifted to UCLA last weekend with serious injuries following an apparent high-speed race on Kanan Road just north of Tamarind Street in Oak Park. JANN HENDRY Acorn Newspapers UP THE CREEK- A paddleboat becomes stuck on a log just before spilling over the Lake Lindero dam at Lake Lindero Drive in Agoura Hills. A second boat about 50 feet away on the lake was also seen adrift following last weekend's heavy rains.
