Senior Congress to discuss safety

Senior safety will be the topic of the Conejo/Las Virgenes Future Foundation fourth annual Senior Congress at 9:30 a.m. Wed., Jan. 30 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Westlake Village.

The Ventura County Fire Department will present "Prevention of Falls and Fires," and the Ventura County Emergency Preparedness Office will outline how seniors should prepare to get along for 72 hours on their own after a major emergency hits the area.

The Camarillo Health Care District will present "Life Line- A Life Saver," and the California Department of Motor Vehicles will host "Safety Behind the Wheel."
