Public can discuss bond issue

The Oak Park Schools Community Group will meet to discuss the possible upcoming parcel tax and facilities bond elections at 7 p.m. tonight, Thurs., Jan. 10 in room G-9, Oak Park High School, 899 N. Kanan Road.

The Oak Park Unified School District board will discuss a survey that was conducted in January at its next board meeting on Jan. 15. Based on a survey review, the district may decide to place one or both school measures on the ballots in June, November or later.

The meeting tonight will provide an opportunity for Oak Park community members to discuss these possibilities in advance of the board meeting.

The agenda will also include any remaining business from the Numbers Crunching Workgroup and the future mission of the general group.
