Burglars stole a $140 iPod and a $25 purse from a vehicle parked in the 6000 block of Dovetail Drive Dec. 10. The culprits also caused $250 in damage when they shattered a window to gain entry.

Calabasas

Vandals caused $415 in damages when they poured soda on merchandise in a store in the 4700 block of Park Granada Dec. 10.

A thief stole a purse and contents valued at more than $1,700 from a vehicle parked in the 3400 block of Oak Ridge Terrace Dec. 9. The culprits also caused $300 in damages to the car during the incident.

Vandals caused $200 in damages when they broke into a car and stole a purse. The incident took place in the 24000 block of Chestnut Way Dec. 9.

Thieves stole an iPod after breaking into a vehicle parked in the 3400 block of Oakridge Terrace on Dec 9.

Someone stole a laptop computer and accessories, an iPod and headphones from a vehicle parked in the 4000 block of Tedregal Court Dec. 6. The items were valued at about $3,000. The culprit also broke a window, causing $580 in damages.

Vandals smashed the window of a vehicle parked in the 5300 block of Enderby Court Dec. 6 to gain entry and steal a wallet containing a driver's license and bank cards, $30 in cash and a digital camera. The total loss was $1,200.

Oak Park

A male, 29, was arrested and charged with possessing heroin, concentrated cannabis and drug paraphernalia at 3:20 p.m. Dec. 16 at Oak Hills Drive and Calle Rio Vista. The suspect was also reportedly under the influence of a controlled substance.
