At-risk children receive 9,000 free holiday toys

My Stuff Bags Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides individual duffel bags filled with new belongings to abused, neglected, abandoned and displaced children, sent nearly 9,000 toys valued at more than $90,000 to at-risk children this holiday season.

My Stuff Bags receives donated toys throughout the year to fill bags that it provides to organizations that serve children in crisis.

Some of the toys are too large to be included in the duffel bags, so the foundation sends them to at-risk children during its annual "My Stuff Holiday Stuff" giveaway.

The foundation sent the toys to qualifying children's organizations in five states. Benefiting organizations included Westlake Village-based Support 4 the Kids.

My Stuff Bags was launched in 1998. Each individual bag is filled with new items such as toys, toiletries, a stuffed animal, clothing and a blanket.
