Kudos to OPHS Key Club

On Sunday several members of Oak Park High's Key Club braved the cold wind outside of Pavillions and CVS to solicit contributions for the troops. Shoppers responded generously with bags full of snacks, toiletries, magazines, and cash to help defray the cost of shipping the care packages to our troops in Iraq.

On behalf of these youngsters, thank you to the retailers who allowed them to be at the stores and the kind shoppers who really showed what the season is all about. Robert Gold Oak Park
