CLU gallery to feature HIV/AIDS exhibition
French artist will unveil mural

An HIV/AIDS exhibit at California Lutheran University will feature a 24foot mural and a collection of activism memorabilia.

The exhibit will run through Sat., Dec. 15 in Kwan Fong Gallery of Art and Culture on the campus, 60 W. Olsen Road in Thousand Oaks.

Christophe Cassidy of Culver City is creating a mural for the gallery that will be unveiled for the show. The French-born artist has painted murals in private homes, restaurants and offices throughout the United States and Spain.

The exhibit will also include AIDS activism memorabilia collected by Craig Webb during the last 20 years. Webb is the director of HIV/AIDS Education and Prevention for Ventura County Public Health.

The gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
