Bethlehem Experience celebrates glorious past

JANN HENDRY/Acorn Newspapers DANCERS- Costumed members and friends of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Westlake Village dance in the nomad camp as part of the congregation's 12th annual Bethlehem Experience last weekend. The two-night event, described by Pastor Dick Thompson as a "gift to the community," is a recreation of the ancient village on the night of Christ's birth.This year 1,065 cars carrying approximately 2,900 visitors drove through the event. The dancers are, from left, Oak Park resident Jane Hanna, Elyse Bleuel, Sue Reeves and Bleuel's daughter Hannah, a Lindero Canyon Middle School seventh grader.
