Malibu residents pledge $1.25 million to Viewpoint

A gift of $1.25 million has been pledged to Viewpoint School's capital campaign, "Building for Our Children's Future," by Malibu residents Jeremy Fletcher and his wife, Dr. Charlotte Fletcher.

Jeremy Fletcher is the former chair of the school's board of trustees. The Fletchers' son Christopher graduated from the Calabasas campus in 2006, and their son Sam is currently a student there.

Their gift will help View

point build a stateoftheart secondary school library. I t i s part of a 13,500square foot academic building that will also house several classrooms and the college counseling office.

Construction is slated to begin June 2008.
