T'was a happy Halloween

I would like to take this opportunity to applaud the manner in which the trick-or-treaters and their parents conducted themselves on Hempstead Drive on Halloween eve.

Hempstead Drive, better known as "Haunted Hempstead" on Halloween, has always attracted a large number of ghosts and goblins. This year's crowd, which exceeded several thousand, was no exception.

As a 23-year resident of Hempstead Drive, I have long admired the manner in which the children have conducted themselves, as well as the strong parental presence for this festive holiday. I believe that the manner in which the children have conducted themselves is in no small part due to the supervision and good upbringing by the parents or our community. Not only have the children been respectful of individual property rights, but they have never failed to say 'thank you.' The children and parents of our community should be applauded for this.
