Kiwanis Club will host guest speaker

The Kiwanis Club of CalabasasAgoura will present guest speaker Denis Rodgerson, PhD, DO at the Dec. 11 meeting. The club meets every Tuesday at noon at the Sagebrush Cantina, 23527 Calabasas Road, Calabasas.

Rodgerson will speak on regenerative medicine, the ability to understand how the body can regenerate tissue and extend the length and quality of human life. He will describe new procedures and tools available to all people.

Rodgerson is the professor emeritus at the UCLA School of Medicine and director of stem cell science for NeoStem, a pioneer in stem cell banking.

Lunch at the meeting is $12 and includes entree, drink, tax and tip.
