Museum to give talks on animals, environment

The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County will present a series on environmental issues one Sunday each month through April 13.

The presentations will begin at 2 p.m. in the Jean Delacour Auditorium at the museum, 900 Exposition Blvd., Los Angeles.

The next discussion will be Dec. 9 when Dr. Lee Hannah presents "Pushed to the Edge: Species and Climate Change," focusing on strategies conservationists use to protect biodiversity.

Next year's presentations will be "The Smaller Majority," Jan. 13; "Building a Common Agenda Between Indigenous People and Conservation," Feb. 3; and "Ocean Exploration and Research in Marine Conservation," March 9.
