Hospice to sponsor Tree of Life events
Guests can honor loved ones with star ornaments

Hospice of the Conejo will host two community Tree of Life ceremonies in Thousand Oaks.

The first ceremony will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sun., Dec. 2 at the Gardens of the World, 2001 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

There will be music and refreshments. Attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Parking is available for free on the boulevard or for a fee in the parking structure at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza across the street.

Rain date is Sun., Dec. 16.

The second ceremony will be at 6:30 p.m. Wed., Dec. 5 at The Oaks mall, 222 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. Music and refreshments will be provided.

Stars to be hung on the trees can be purchased for a suggested donation of $20. Names of those remembered or honored will be written on the stars and in the "Book of Lights."

Donations are used by Hospice in service to terminally ill patients and their families.
