Reserve spot for GOP holiday gala Thousand Oaks Republican Women Federated will host a Christmas and holiday gala on Thurs., Dec. 6 at Sherwood Country Club, 320 W. Stafford Road, Thousand Oaks. The event gets underway with a 10:45 a.m. reception followed by a holiday luncheon and program at noon. An RSVP is due by today, Thurs., Nov. 29. Call Rosemary Licata at (818) 8894839. Gentlemen are encouraged to attend and the public is invited. The "Holiday Spirit" theme will feature the Voices of Christmas carolers, fashion and holiday boutiques and actress Garianna Geiselman. Ventura County District Attorney Greg Totten will be special guest. Club officers for 2008 will also be installed. Cost is $50 members and guests, $35 students. |
