Oaks Christian to present play The Intro to Theater class of Oaks Christian Middle School will present their fall production of "The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge," a sequel to "A Christmas Carol," at 7 p.m. Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1 on the school's new performing arts stage, the Bedrosian Pavilion, 31749 La Tienda Drive, Westlake Village. Scrooge transformed from a cantankerous miser to an enthusiastic benefactor because of the visits of the three ghosts of Christmas. But what happened after that? Did Scrooge remain true to his newfound devotion to humanity, or did he decide he had been unjustly visited and demand retribution? Eighth-grader Carl Niemi plays Scrooge. The ghosts of Christmas who are being brought to trial for their unjust treatment of the miser are eightgraders Tess Perry and Kelly Cislo and seventh-grader Lauren Moscarello. The show is directed by Celeste Gosnell. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12 and free to Oaks Christian students. All seats are reserved on a first come, first served basis. For ticket information, call Christi Goeser at (818) 575-9161 or visit www.oakschristian.org. |
