Roundabout not the answer

So there is going to be a roundabout built at Kanan and Agoura roads. I was just wondering if the same person who designed the debacle at Kanan and the 101 was going to design this also? Can we slow down traffic on Kanan any more or make it any more dangerous than it already is?

I wonder if the traffic engineers and the mayor have ever driven on Kanan Road between Laro and Agoura roads? Maybe they need to get out of their cozy offices and drive this stretch, especially in the morning rush hour.

Do they realize that the synchronization of the stop lights is nonexistent? Do they realize that the left turn arrow on southbound Kanan at Thousand Oaks is too short in the morning hours when kids are going to Agoura High? Do these officials realize the signage at Kanan and the 101 is horrible and causes near accidents?

I have heard that these concerns were going to be taken care of over time, but so far there has been no improvement.
