Santa coming coming Dec. 1

The Santa Comes to Agoura and Beyond annual food drive will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Sat., Dec. 1 at Doit Center, 28750 Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills.

This year the event, which is more than 25 years old, will include donation collections for two local youths facing medical problems, and the opportunity to obtain a free digital ID for children.

Other activities include raffles, face painting, balloons and photos with Santa.

The Brookside Elementary School Choir will sing, and the Agoura High School cheerleaders will perform.

The morning will begin with a blessing of the donated food. Volunteers will sort the food into bags and deliver food to needy homes.

Food donations may be dropped off at the following sites: Doit Center; First Federal of California, 5701 Kanan Road, Agoura Hills; Postal Annex, 5699 Kanan Road, Agoura Hills; and Beanscene, 610 Lindero Canyon Road, Oak Park.
